The car customizing video includes Rising Sun symbol
Hello. I contacted support and was given a reply saying it is suggested to leave a comment here, so that more devs can notice.
I'd like to talk about what your new game involves in the car customizing.
In the video about car customizing, I saw the Rising Sun (Flag or Symbol) involved.
(Check attached file "nfs with rising sun".)
Rising Sun is Japanese symbol or flag with the red circle in the middle and red stripes going outwards from the circle.
Although it has been used for more than hundreds of years by Japanese, it was used by Japanese military during their Imperialism period.
(Precisely, the military took the same flag which was used by Japanese for like centuries.)
Anyway, that flag was used when Japanese Imperialism attacked and colonized other Asian countries.
When Japan got defeated on WW2, their military was dismantled. Rising Sun Flag was also gone with the end of Japanese military.
But after a few years when Japan created Self Defense Force, they used the same flag again.
Some of you may think it's just a flag which is similar to Japan's national flag. That's more than just a flag.
Let me present an evidence - check the attached file "rising sun with...". This flag is aligned with Hakenkreuz of Nazi.
You might have not known what that is... might have not known if that symbol ever exists or not.
But making mistakes can happen. What's more important is how you decide to react when you discover it.
I could see that you must have taken that image from a Japanese company of car repair - "Liberty Works".
That's Japanese company. Japanese people might think that they have been using that symbol for so long and there's no reason to feel uncomfortable against that.
However, (if they really think so) that's their opinion. The people who share the same historical event but regard it as differently cannot accept this.
I discovered that there already was a similar situation like this. In NFS: Reboot, the same Rising Sun symbol was shown on one of the cars.
Fortunately, that image was removed before the official release. I believe that the same will be done regarding this case.
