Don't crash or touch the "the periphery" of the road.
Try to do drifting and jumps as much as possible (to gain Nitro faster).
Just fire the Nitro(by Swiping Up) every second. (LOL! Yes, your finger may start hurting you.) Don't bother to do it(starting the Nitro) "at right moment".
I am sure this technique will help you to win this event!
In my case it definitely takes the nitro more than a second to actually replenish enough to be fired again. And I doubt the nudge it gives you when firing it often enough can offset the benefits of riding under nitro and reaching higher speed.
