Yep, I noticed the same thing. The arrow should not be centered like it is. Should be the front tip of the arrow that's centered on the car, not the middle of the arrow. Moving it back some would probably make it much better.
@BigShayne08 Good, glad I am not the only one haha. Lets hope they do this, it would just add some quality of life changes in game.
