The screen goes black when I play Need for Speed Payback.

The game starts smoothly, but during the race, the screen goes black for 3-4 seconds and I crash. Why does this error occur and how can I fix it? I bought the game from steam. I have an rtx 3060 and...

Some troubleshooting steps:

Clear the EA app cache: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
In the EA app, click on the game and then Manage, Repair
Download and install all available Windows Updates
Run System File Checker to help ensure the integrity of your Windows System files: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
