Hello! I win a race and placed a fourth. Then I win again, but still fourth. And win again, but still I'm fourth. Why? Why not third? Second?

Well, the obvious answer is that the ranking is based on points. You were 4th after 11 races, but those three ahead of you won at least 13 races each, having 11700+ points. Thats why you ended up 4th after 2 more races.
@HeretikJirka this is one of the things that has always bothered me about tournaments, you can look at the leaderboard but have absolutely now idea how many points each player is currently on and whether its worth while continuing to race to try and gain any extra places, hopefully things will be resolved once we get the next update and tournaments are removed
@richieluv76 I agree. Partly. The thing is, it might get even more confusing than now, when you are without any information, and for at least two reasons:
a) other people may be racing as well. It may happen you see you have the same amount of points as the guy before you, but after another race, situation is the same, as he managed to race a round as well. Or you can even drop position, as others may finish more than one round during that time.b) contrary to the BRR, in Tournaments different people do see different leaderboards - both their immediate vicinity and TOP50. Not sure how that changes in time (that is, if the set is somehow decided beforehand, or it does change during the tournament)
- I think the source of the problem is that you can't see the points the people around you have. This game is based off your score and standing at the moment you finish a race. You should have the ability to see the scores of the people around you at the time you access the leaderboard. If they can determine your rank in a matter of seconds, they can display the scores of those around you as well as the top 50.
- And for the record, I am more pissed about them taking away my sixth tournament ticket with this latest update. I paid money to reach a VIP level that gave me six tournament race tickets max, and today it's back down to 5. I have asked for a refund of my last purchase since they have taken something I paid for.
Same for me,i had 7 tournament tickets...this is ....they made me to stop spending money,with the last update....Bring back our vip tickets ....is not fair...

You may need to win numerous amount of races to gain just one position at the top of the leaderboard.
