Track Times

Yesterday I was on Hyperspace Circuit and noticed that a lvl 259 Ford Boss 302 was the autolog recommendation for that track. The time was a 1m 45: 25s . I looked at what i've done on there prior and I had a 1m46:23s and I remember doing that with a lvl 399 Regera. That was before re loading the game because my files had gotten corrupted by going online.

So the question is" Is that a legit time or is that fake advertising and it was a computer that set that track time and not a real player? If it was a computer than I'll just ignore auto logg stuff since i'm not competing with other players to beat their times. If I beat them great but if not no biggy since I win the races against the computer already.

Maybe. I beat that time and my other time with a Regera . A reason I was asking is because I've read here on the forums that players need programs to play this game because it's to hard for some of them to play it without. People saying we have hackers in the speedlists for example now has me wondering if the auto logg recommendations are still from legit non program using players.  No worries I'll still try and beat the Speed X ones and my own times.

I'm just hoping E.A. will soon dispose of the Cheaters in this game Online!

It's true that there are people using programs they should not be using!

I never understand why people buy a game only to cheat in the game?

As for me, I've always have been an honest player and I can't stand any kind of cheaters!

As for your Time issue, hopefully, you just beat the A.I. time!

I know that E.A. said they were going to make the rubberbanding go away, but they failed again in this game.

I have read many complaints on this from many people on many forums on the internet!

Still, no reason for anyone to cheat ever!

Let/s hope E.A. will tone down the Rubberbanding down in the next game!

Yea I beat it with a Regera with a 1m 43 something I think. Then the next spot was a 1m 42 something set by another Regera which I have no reason to question. I'd prefer they eliminate the Auto Logg's from story mode entirely. They could just keep those for the Online portion of this game and have our own track times as time's we have to beat for the story mode.

This way hackers/Modders can't screw with my story mode times and put up time's I can't beat unl;ess I get a mod program also. The whole "If you can't beat them then join them", phrase comes to mind about this and I refuse to use hacks to play video games.

  • i was watching a youtube video of a drift race, i saw that the autolog recommend was 93 million. how in the world do you get that without cheating? i looked in the comments and saw people saying it was "continuous loop drifting". i tried that but it did not work since i had already drove over that particular stretch of road. i barely managed to get 1-2 million on drifts.

That's why we have to check out the videos to make sure they are legit or some cheater making a video.

Youtube has its moments of good and bad when looking up info.

Most videos on Payback game have good points but some are just pointless and are self-explanatory.

I fully agree with you 93 million is crazy & had to be someone cheating.

    Thanks for your post.

Thanks for posting. I made this thread for that simple reason. To question game times we think are created by cheating. So players that actually drive way better than I do can come back and say if it was possible or not. I'm pretty sure that 259 Boss 302 time was a cheat since like I had stated. My best time prior was set by a Regera and there shouldn't be any way a 259 car can beat the time of a 399 Regera on Hyperspace Circuit without cheating.
