Triangles In need For Speed

I have noticed in Need For Speed Rivals on the small map in bottom left hand corner different colored triangles. Most seem to be obvious what they are while a few are not. The other night I had sever...

    @qn5kdql5tz5j , the bigger sized triangles are online players. If it's yellow, it's another online racer. If it's yellow and flashing red, it's an online player being chased by AI cops or another online player cop. If the bigger triangle is blue, it's another online player cop. If you have a second computer, laptop, or a smart phone, you can go to the need for speed network web site and sign in to Overwatch while you're in-game. When you first log in, it will have a "default" map showing you and "Rival" players. This is a default map only. You can click on navigation mode and track yourself everywhere you go. you can also go into Overwatch itself and repair your car, replenish your nos, etc. Overwatch also gives you the ability to help or hinder other online players who have Overwatch enabled in their settings. You can enable/disable Overwatch in your in-game settings menu. Hope this helps with the Triangles.

Thank you. Yes that helps. The mystery triangle (at that time and I am pretty new at this) was another online player from what you are saying. I am still a little baffled as to why or how the Cops in pursuit of me did not go after him also? He was right in the mix with them (computer cops) and slammed me when I tried a botched U-turn. Maybe in all the Chaos they were just zoned in on me. Somehow I was able to limp off in a badly damaged car to a Repair shop and enter with all the cops (several) and online person after me. Pretty exciting chase because it went forever. The online player must have been tracking me online - can that be done? because he was behind me forever quite a ways then it seemed like all the sudden him and cops were on me. I thought they would never catch me but I had a couple of minor crashes when I slowed down a little in some curves.

Anyways, great game and thank you for clarification!!

    No problem. Is a fun game and running from the police or even being one on there is great. If a player is logged into Overwatch while in-game, they can see anyone on the map in overwatch that's in that session. You can see other players on Overwatch as well. www.needforspeednetwork.com Log in with your origin info and you will have a "default" map. Shows "Rival" over other player icons. If you click on navigation mode in overwatch when you're in freeroam in-game, it will show you where you are and track you on the map. Overwatch can be used to repair car, refill nos, etc. Can also do the same to other players with overwatch enabled. Help or hurt them. The AI cops are pretty easy to get away from majority of the time. Some other player cops are pretty hard, but usually I can get away and disappear. Specially in my Konnie...:D Good luck.

      Thanks for the info. I was kinda aware of some of the stuff. I had loaded up the app on my phone but had not actually tried it live yet while playing the game. I will the next time I get on NFS and check it out except on a laptop so I can see it better. Thanks again, appricate the heads up!!
