EA StaffThanks for making a good teaser trailer. It really looks good. So good I had to pre-order. Think it is the first time I've done that for any game. Really hope this NFS takes us back to the days when gaming was all about having fun. No more speed cards counts.
And I really look forward to the soundtrack. Sometimes I play my old NFS games just to drive a hot car and listen to the music.

That may be true for the first month of release.
Once the reviews are out, they may add in loot boxes and microtransactions to avoid any bad press within the first month of release.
An example would be the remastered version of Crash Team Racing.
CTR Remastered was microtransactions-free in its first month of release.
After the month of release has passed, Activision added microtransactions to that game.

They confirmed no loot boxes. Then they could possibly pull an "Activision" by lying what they said and attempt to add in loot boxes and microtransactions after the reviews are out to avoid release backlash.
It happened with Crash Team Racing Remastered, it could possibly happen with NFS Heat too.

You're right that it's too early to tell anything. I was only saying maybe loot boxes and microtransactions are added to the game one month after release.

The Fifa Ultimate Team guy is now leading the Need for Speed studios. So you can expect that from now on Need For Speed will have a lot more microtransaction. They will probably turn Need for Speed into Fifa Ultimate Team, I don't doubt that. Then open the eye. Do not trust false promises. They are probably fooling us since now.
