Underworld downfall results in my downfall.

It’s like any other special event race,  you never get enough fuel to complete it without tossing a bunch of gold at it.  And after dumping 1000 gold at this thing,  I find myself stuck on the final day,  on track 12, with five races left, out of gold and out of time.

 It feels like it was planned this way.  The SKIP buyout has been suddenly ramped up to 225 gold,  all the parts require double parts,  and you’re trying to catch up with some car that is still wiping the track with me by at least two seconds...LAME!  He’s comically faster and its leaving me feel scammed.

 I’m sure I could have dumped another ten bucks at this thing and maybe got that car I will never drive again,  but...nahhh.  I don’t mind difficulty,  I actually enjoy difficulty, I don’t mind having to earn my rewards,  but when all the fun gets sucked out of the thing cus somebody just wants to make a buck off me.  Pffffft.  Cya later.

    Decided to attempt the latest skill master proving ground without using gold. You know, the one where you try to win the Jaguar by near missing four cars while trying to get in 1300 drift and beat four other racers at the same time.

    I find I burn through five tanks of fuel just figuring out the plan. But its ok Ive been stuck on day six for hours ( cant seem to do.a NEAR MISS with any regularity if I have to do a ton of drifting at the same time) and there’s only 8 hours left, and even if I do everything flawlessly I’ll still get delayed by the ‘make up the minimum skill point hurdles so you can continue through the tracks’,...nah not gonna make it again.

    But at least this time I save 1000 gold. I wont be getting that jaguar, but I wont be stressing it either. It would just sit in the garage next to the Hennessy viper GT. I’ll save the gold for something I might actually use. I understand the concept of pay for play, somebody has to pay the bills, I just don’t think the investement is worth it for things like ‘winning a car I never bother to drive’.
