Unlocked cop cars are still locked

Okay so I got Need for Speed Rivals for my PC laptop the other day. And so I switched from being a racer to a cop. And then when I completed the 1st assignment thing, and it said I unlocked the Aston Martin Vanquish, and it showed me that display when you unlock a car, y'know. But here's the thing: after that, I go to the "car select" menu and I keep moving the arrow keys until I get to the Aston Martin. Guess what? It's locked! I don't know why, because like I said earlier, it clearly showed that I unlocked it. (Note that it also had the "New Car Available" message as well). So... can anyone give me an explanation on what happened and why, and maybe a way to fix it or whatever?

Also, if this effects anything at all, it might be useful to know that I was using one car for basically the whole time up until I completed the assignment - which was the undercover version of the Lamborghini Miura. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, I just thought I should add that.

Is your issue resolved?, if so can you tell me how to resolve it, cause  I have same problem too
