The only updates that will come out now are those that Ghost had in the works. After those minor updates there will be no more work done on Heat. In other words this game has 1, maybe 2 more patches before EA abandons it. However with the USA in freak out mode over Covid-19 they've most likely already pulled the plug on under performing games, which means they've most likely already abandoned this game

Seeing how it's been on sale for over a month, and still no involvement from the Non-existing Community Manager, it's safe to assume work on this game has been terminated. Expect maybe one or two complete crap patches to bait a few more gullible children to spend cash, than nothing at all. Standard EA order of Operations.
Sadly I must agree....
I was explaining to my sister what EA Games were. My definition was as follows...
Me-"EA games have so much potential. They can be crafted into fantastic pieces of art. But Corporate Big Wigs dont care about passion. They only care about bottom line"
Then she asked why I play their games
me- "I hardly dont. Origin Access only. And thats really pushing it for me"
her- "But you are a huge star wars freak!!!!"
me- "If you skip the cut scenes its barely 10 hour game.....No heart or soul in the game. Without those two. Its not Star Wars"
I would be pleasantly surprised if EA made me eat my own words.
