10 years agoI had this exact issue when I first booted up the game on a basic TV at my parent's house; turns out my console was still set to output 5.1 from when I was at home. Switching the audio setting to Stereo in the Xbox menu solved the problem, so it's definitely worth checking your audio output options. The fact you can hear it when listening to a stereo output via a headset suggests that the setting is causing the issue.
