What is a Turbo Slam!?

Nobody in the world can seem to tell me what a Turbo Slam is but it's required in the game to progress through missions. It says slam into cars using turbo but that doesn't do anything. I've been slamming into cars, racers, police(while using turbo) for the past 2 hours and it doesn't count as a Turbo Slam. Seriously...what the hell man?

    I met this goal by purchasing the turbo pursuit tech then starting a race (multiple racers). I let them get ahead of me and then I would activated turbo and broadside them (my door into their door). Not to difficult once you have a system, good luck!

    you need to hit the specified target when side by side with turbo activated

    specified target? the game specifies what to hit? where would the indication be?

    To activate the turbo while driving push the triangle button then broadside the cars took me forever to figure that out lol
