Not sure if this has already been asked.
I am looking to buy a whole wheel set up, the pedals and shifter, the lot.
I have NFS Payback on order but reluctant to order it all to find out they won't work with the game and I'll be forced to use my Xbox controller.
Do we have anything from Need for Speed themselves regarding it?

I am also interested in purchasing a racing steering wheel (Logitech G920) for Need for Speed Payback on the Xbox One X console, but there is no information available about supported racing wheels on Xbox One.
We have to go through the same nonsense every time a new NFS game comes out. Usually they are not supported on day 1, this is why there is little information about it. Sneaky tactic of hoping we will buy it and not check.
You would think a racing game it would be obvious right?

If on the Xbox, there has never been wheel support on any of the NFS games that I am aware of. I am on a Thrustmaster TX w/ Leather GT wheel, TH8A shifter, T3PA-Pro pedals mounted on a RaceRoom simulator. I race every race game I can get my hands on, and am thoroughly disappointed being forced onto a controller. The games are fun, but seeing as how you never get out the car like on GTA, then there is no reason to not support the wheel racing community. It would pay off. More people are buying wheels because of how readily available and affordable they are now. It would be a shame if these wheel racers bought FM 7 or Horizon3 or F1 or PC2 or Crew or some other games that are fully supported.....
