Actually we found Need for speed 4 & Need for Speed 5 Porsche on Sony PS1 in the internet club. Oh we payed 10 cents for an hour in that club can you imagine). but it was quite expensive in my country for children). It was our lovely game in one rank with Twisted Metal 2 and Road rush 3.
The time passed I was 12 y. old & in 2006 my father brought a PC at home i remember it's characteristics: 1.6 GHz 1 core CPU, 512 Mb Ram and 128 Mb Video) It was my first "own"(father used it very rear) computer & NFS Underground 2 was a first game I honored to complete on 100% career. Then MW 2005 cannot load on this computer. After some time father brought a new GPU: 512 mb. And with that GPU and some tweaks i finally started passing MW 2005 on "middle" graphic settings, and that time Need for Speed carbon appeared. I still remember very low graphic settings 24 fps and i try to put a vinyl on the hood))
The time passed when Pro street appeared. That time computer was totaly upgraded. all except Hull; GPU and CD-rom. so it was 2core 2.8 GHz 2 Gb Ram and 512 video. I could run ProStreet on middle graphic settings with extra CPU cooling. but from pro street I do not like the direction which NFS series went, as i say on: Test drive, F1, & Project cars , Dirt serie "lazy track race series".
After was Undercover but the graphics part in this game was really wasted so i played till middle career and stopped. Shift, which had come in that future was also "lazy track race series" so i just tried it a little and uninstalled it. Shift 2 even did not try. When appeared Hot Pursuit 2014 it was really fresh remake of previous hot pursuit. So i played it offline it was interesting. but multiplayer was unbalanced, so I stopped it.
Need for speed 2015 i pre ordered. you can still find me in the late evening(in my country) drifting in canyons there. good game, but except riding and watching a videos nothing there.
I think 2015 was EA's first try to see what they could do on this new engine. & Payback have same Game Engine as 2015. So I expect all undone in 2015 to be released in 2017. So we'll see it in a month. hope to meet you there fellows))
