I had the same issue on Xbox. The game doesn't make it entirely obvious, but here's what you have to do; You know how you can change your car when you drive up to an event in free roam? Do that on the graveyard shift rematch mission and the game will take you to your warehouse. Once you're in the warehouse, you have to choose 3 cars for that mission (Race, Off-Road and Runner). After you do that, the event will start.

You buy new cars at the Race dealership at the top of the map. You change cars at the event by holding down E.
