why is snoop dogg event so hard

@mjeii6 - You get your resources throughout the day until you reach the limit. Once you have full tickets, fuel etc. (and does not matter if that is 5/5, 6/6, 25/25), you are not getting anything new. That means it does not matter whether you use all your tickets/fuel at once and wait till you max it out again (or just before that), or that you race a single race every hour or so. But you should minimize time when you are at the limit (thus you are not receiving any new tickets/fuel).

See it this way:

Example with 5 tickets is the limit, new ticket every 55 minutes.

A) Get up at 7am with 5/5, play at least one race and some more races during the first hour. Then you can race available races every four and a half hour or less. Do that all the way to 11pm, when you go to sleep, and the same in the morning.

Used tickets per day: 22-23 out of 26 possible.

B) You get to your game first at 8am and play all your tickets, then again during the lunch break, again at 7pm which is the last time you play.

Used tickets: 14-15 out of 26. Compared to scenario A you are missing 8 races (about one third), which is about 6 more materials and 30k cash (daily).

@HeretikJirka ok that clears up the ticket thing but still there is margin for error in trying to obtain parts lets say we use scenario a and maximize the ticket usage of 23 tickets of possible 26 as you say and throw in account of using replay tickets its still possible to be stuck on a race like i was for 2 days straight i was stuck on day 3 race 5-7 not exactly sure wich and the only way out was to use gold an skip race this scenario is what prompted me to post this thread so how would one fix that scenario without paying

Oh, I see. So the other thing here is to be able to drive well, do not make too many mistakes. Historically there were special events with two or three hard races where many players had problems. Unsurprisingly that was always a hunter race. And yes, it was doable without paying gold (either to skip race or to boost the car), but it seems way too many players had issues, so in successive events those hunter races got nerfed and now they pose no problem. As for me, I have blown several races during GT500 events, driving too carelessly or just badly hitting a corner, and dead halt is usually not recoverable. But in the past several months it has never happened to me to fail a single race more than once or twice. If you encounter that, go to the garage to equip anything you can (I do not do that after every race), use cash to buy stuff in the shop, and especially think of that race, where is the problem and where can you gain (not hitting anything is one part, getting perfect start another, and yet another is driving inside the corners, use nitro effectively etc.).Or instead of trying again, start now by repeating past events to gain even more materials and cash to upgrade your car and get an advantage.

And one last thing - instead of paying 200 gold for skipping a race that gives you headaches, what about to buy a bunch of tickets and again race for new materials? Remember you get at least 30 gold every day from assignments (not counting missions and car series) and you get some more gold after every SE chapter, so you can spend gold even if you do not pay. In some SEs it may be wiser to buy more blueprints for that gold to reach another star sooner than to spend it to skip a race or buy a missing material.

@mjeii6 i'm not sure of the race you're refering to but this has been an issue on previous events, just a few tips,

1/ avoid ramps - although you'll get nitro you'll lose any acceleration you could have gained,

2/ take corners as tight as possible with minimal drifting - you lose a lot of speed on a high angle drift and more often than not you lose the racing line

3/ obviously avoid hitting anything

4/ use nitro as you are exiting a corner onto a straight - personally i think using nitro through a corner is a waste

generally nitro usage has been a bit of a hot topic in these parts, some players say keep hitting nitro when available others say wait until its built up and use it on long staights

there were a few hunter races in the silvia special event a few months ago that caused a few issues and you almost had to run the "perfect" racing line to beat it, but it was beatable (although it took me about 7-10 attempts!)

@richieluv76 you dont wanna finish most wanted because you dont get to upgrade the m3 yea its nice to get back at razor but would be even better if you could build the m3 but i never finished carbon either
