I also thought "Well, surely I must be able to transfer my drag speed cards won to another drag car back in my garage..." Nope. This game makes no sense. I like the garage system in Need for Speed (2015) the best so far (though I've yet to play "NFS Heat" (because of the disappointment from "Payback") that made sense. Unlocking different levels made parts available for any car and any car could be used in any event (I'd like that back as well), you had the OPTION to make your car "just for drifting" or whatever. I'd like to race my runner or drag my runner for that matter, without having to buy the same car 5 times AND UNLOCK THE SAME DAM CARDS 5 times! Come on EA! Oh and as always EFF these microtransactions! Dam, make the games complete! I hate that and refuse to buy. Whoops this turned into a rant about games in general, my bad.
In NFS Heat, when I got the McLaren '15, I drove it a bit to get used to the handling... I then did some day & night races, to be sure I could handle the car at higher speeds. Then, I went out during the day & rammed atleast 6 different patrol cars. The result, they ate the dust left by the car, because my car was long gone! There was one time, when a cop nearly took my car out. I tried to swerve, but forgot there was deep water there. I thought for SURE I was going to be busted, but get this... when my car respawned, the cop said I disappeared! That mistake actually saved me! But there is a drawback to getting into chase's with cops during the day... at most, I reached heat 2, but when they lost sight of my car, within a very short time, the heat dropped to zero, then chase was called off. But who wants to be too close to their cars? Two patrol cars usually come after you, and they could easily box you in or bash your car from both sides, ruining your chances for a clean getaway.
Anyway, try NFS Heat... you will LOVE it! If you play NFS Rivals, you can play either the racer or the cop.
