You've identified a common misconception, and I agree, yes it's "nameless driver's" or "Player's" BMW M3 GTR as opposed to being Razor's since he "won" it in a rigged pink slip race.

Ironically, they managed to spell Razor (Clarence Callahan's street name) wrong in every single rendition of the car list I've seen. Instead using an e for some bizarre reason...
