Adjustment to Cops and Heat Feature
Love the game so far but wanted to ask... Not deal breakers at all.
Story Mode Comments only:
1. The heat feature is too aggressive in how it adds heat overall, but it's really a letdown that every race increases your heat by half, regardless if the cops chase you at the end or not. 2-3 races can and will have you at heat level 5 during the day, and there is nothing you can do to manage that or decrease it.
Solution idea: Is there a way to build in a way to lower your heat during the day or night races by at most 2 heat levels? It's very annoying going into night races with a heat level of 5, and can't even just drive around without constantly dodging helicopters, undercover, regular cops, pedestrians, etc. Maybe when you finish day races, you automatically decrease by 1.5 heat. This can totally be random too.
2. Can different cars have their own heat level? Imagine being forced to drive tier A+ cars because you maxed out your heat on Car 1, then decide to do Tier B, but that's a bad idea because your heat is 5, and every cop in the city is going to destroy you before the 3 minutes timer is up to find a gas station.
3. More built-in Evading locations from helicopters. The inner city has the lower area, which is a nice built-in way to evade helicopters, but out in the open area, can there be barns or weird buildings you can drive into to get the eyes of the helicopters off you? It is awesome that helicopters have a time limit for gas, by the way. I hate to bring up "Most Wanted 2005", but it had hideaway locations from helicopters that came in clutch when needing to get the eyes in the sky off your tail.
