Any point in reporting players nowadays?

People still cheat like we've been used to for so long now, its whatever, I don't really care. But I seriously doubt I'm the only player who've met, and hasn't been harassed by this sad individual over literally days, everytime we're in the same lobby.. all of that harassment simply because I left a race where they purposefully ram me of the track. 

So is there a point in reporting them, or should I just accept that I can't play in the same lobby as this person?
