Can't Hear My Car
Are there plans to fix the sound in the next update? Haven't enough people noticed that you can barely hear your own car and it makes manual transmission unplayable for me. I'll have to wait till it'...

Hello @Kwikstep this is a noted audio setting issue.
We have found that turning up the "Car Effects" in addition to the "Car" volume setting should fix this.
Why the car engine, turbo and exhaust notes are all classed under "Car effects" I have no idea.
Try this out and see how it goes, if not comment back here. Would be interesting to understand why this occurs.
Thanks for your response. I have both car, and effects volume at 100% and ALL music sliders at 0%. I did notice that when in chase camera [3rd person], the exhaust sound is much better than in the car with hood cam. I use a wheel and like to be in the car, but I was considering playing this game in chase cam anyway so I'll get used to that. I definitely cannot hear the exhaust or engine well enough in the car to use manual transmission no matter what I do. Besides helping to shift, hearing your exhaust can be one of the most satisfying parts of driving so I sincerely hope it gets patched since it's still to quiet imo even in chase cam. I'm not willing to drop a skill I've worked on like manual shifting but I'm willing to go with chase cam for an arcadey racing game
