Car stopped working, can't move at all except using nitrous

Game suddenly wouldn't let me move forward or backwards anymore no matter what. and disconnecting the controller forces the game to make the car do nothing but burnouts. Tried exiting and re-entering the game I couldn't even start the game cuz the x button wouldn't work. Even in the game menu I can't use the R2/L2 buttons.
