Cops

I am totally with you on this one. I love this game. The driving is great, drifting feels awesome, graphics vary from awesome to lousy (Cars/characters awesome, environment lousy), customisation looks awesome, story/dialoge is passable/good for a NFS (taste thing), but what gets me are the cops.

1. NFS should be at a stage that when AI rams YOU, they wouldn't blame you for ramming THEM. Fokking annoying to have them slam into you hard enough to let you fly and them hear them yell "The * just rammed into me! How could he!?!?!!". That is just stupid and frustrating when you are trying to get away from them.

2. The risk/reward thing cops wise is just not worth it. first, you get heat waaaaaaaayyyyyyy too quickly. Even during daytime, which you then take with you to the night races. With only a few races, your heat is 4+ in the second week already. I am driving still only my B and A class cars. And with 2/3+ heat, there are already so many cops on the street that you can't go from one point to a race or garage without having to tip toe around the map or having to take 30 detours just to get to where you want to go, not taking into acount the sleeper cops that don't appear on your minimap. And losing cops on this map is just absurdly tedious. Even the regular cop cars have super fast cars and the AI is surprisingly smart (know how to dodge the environment very well) and got annoying catchup. That together with the amount and regularity of reenforcements the cops get lets chaces get dragged on for waaaaaay too long. And what do you get for "winning" a 10-15 minute long chase? a handful of credits. VS losing all your hard earned cash of that night. And as long as you are busy with losing your pursueers, you can't get on with the rest of the game.

Seriously, this game isn't anymore about streetracing, it is metal gear solid in car form. The cops have to get looked at soon as otherwise I will be done with this game real soon. Not a threat, just stating a possible threshold that can affect lots of other people as cops and pursuits are one of the main things in the game.
