I play on Challenging, but if I drop down to Relaxing I hardly notice a difference. Relaxing should be a lot easier IMO.

Well, unless they patch the difficulty, I just threw away $80.
You have to WIN the Saturday race to advance the story....I cant even come CLOSE to winning. I have spent 5 hours replaying Friday and Saturday to no avail....the final race is just too hard. The two cars I am up against just shoot off the line and unless you can race a perfect race, you have ZERO chance.
Come on EA, is this stuff not tested? We have people playing on challenging, moving it down to easy and saying there is no difference....I 100% believe them.

I started the game out on relaxed mode and was doing great, wining races making big money. Then I noticed last Thursday it started getting harder to win almost impossible . Went to settings to get rid of the subtitles and there I found the game went from relaxed to intense. Don't know why it changed but it did.

I kind of expect Challenging and definitely expect Intense to demand that you have a proper car, proper setup and that you need to get your starts right and not make any mistakes during racing. But the lowest difficulty should allow a fair margin of error. I lowered the third qualifier to Relaxing because I had the wrong car/setup (see below), and I still needed to do everything exactly right and it was still only a second or two between me and number 2.
Also noticed a massive difference in performance between AWD vs RWD cars tuned to the same rating. The AWD's are so much faster it's insane. Not just on starts, but everywhere. Might be contributing as well.

Have the same issue with 1st Saturday race on relaxed. Keep being eliminated in 2nd race. and car is 1 point below A+
It's not relaxed at all.
Doesn't help that the AI super accels the cars when you hit boost, to the point they are pulling away, even if you were matched speeds -and- drafting them before. Then they hit boost after you run out and become almost impossible to catch. Granted that all NFS (except for world) have done this to some degree, but that AI quirk really should be removed. AI's also need a human reaction time to events such as PIT maneuver. I notice the AI start to counter the PIT almost immediately. In one, case, the AI started to counter before I actually touched their vehicle.
