when tuning a car with the simplest explanation, u can go between acceleration and top speed, if u go more top speed, u lose acceleration, or opposite
in corner races, you need to take a lot of corners so you need high acceleration and low top speed
in street races u need both, best way, taking the car to test drive on spesific roads and see you can reach the top speed or not, then go lower your top speed and earn more acceleration or opposite
in speed races you dont need to turn usually, so u dont lose speed a lot and u can reach higher speeds,
u need to tune your car well for the road types, but every car has their own limits, some cars can be tuned for better acceleration times

Yes, in class B it doesn't matter at all, in class A you only need 2 cars, 1 fast car for exactly 2 routes, and for the other routes 1 car with insane acceleration, and there are 3 cars that you can do overtuned, so they don't have the standard A209 but are much lower, but they have an unlikely acceleration. In class A+ you almost only need 2 cars, one for short tracks and one for fast tracks. In class S you only need 3 cars, one for city short track racing, a slightly faster car with good acceleration and reasonable speed, and 1 fast car. In S+ it almost doesn't matter, you can tell who can race and who can't race, there are a lot of Regera cars, but they are easily defeated by normal, highly tuned S+ cars. And I don't think it's a good thing that only very few car brands are good for a win. Normally, many more car brands would have to be on equal footing, that would make the races more difficult than you already know, ah this gamer takes this car, so he loses. But that is due to the development of the game.
