Ditching the open world idea for the upcoming IP/NFS racing game

So, the content of NFS Unbound is not impressive in Vol. 2, compared to the older NFS games in 2000s.

What do you think of ditching the open-world idea and make an arcade style (like NFS Underground 1, The Run or the Sega ones) in Criterion's upcoming IP racing game or (sigh) the upcoming's Need For Speed one?
