SAME HERE. Just happened to me, my 140+ hours of progress are just gone in a matter of seconds. When I tried to contact customer service, it just not really helping at all. Also it kind of blaming the user side rather than trying to fix the problem. I tried every method that they told me, yet nothing that I had done could recover my progress.
Yep that all sounds about right. Unfortunately, once its gone its gone permanently and once you start the game again, it overwrites any previous saves if there were any, basically we are hung out to dry. it's nonsense.
