Forza Vs Need For Speed
Forza Motorsports and Horizon both bring something to the table for racing games. Though I still think most people would rather take it to the streets in games like Need For Speed. Though if you get to the mind set and think about it what makes it more appealing? Is it that you can take these every day cars customize them with paint and vinyls and body kits and turn every day cars basically into super cars? Or is it something else that just usually makes it more appealing? If that's the case I would say because it comes closer to the roads we actually drive when it is Need For Speed. Then theres the fact you dont need to be a mechanic to know what upgrades will do what and what tweeks will do what as much. Thats where I give Forza praise the more you know about cars you will know whats better for what you need or how you drive and a easier time tweeking the car. Lets not forget what to do about areodynamics either. As well as weather. They both may be different types of games when it comes to those who like racing games. Honestly track vs street is the question. That can be a difficult question to answer. I'm not against having both in racing game. I guess we do get that here and there but at the same time they are different and the cars can be different as well. Though on to the main topic am I the only one that thinks it would be great if EA took a step and looked at other racers Not just Forza and their own franchise Need For Speed and see what works for them and makes those great in order to create a better Need For Speed which mostly appeals to street. Can bring in the oh so dreaded meter that measures your driving skill. Do you crash into stuff or other cars or cut across just to get ahead or screw over other racers or are you patient dont hit any thing speeding avoiding traffic a clean safe driver? Been looking for a good racer to play lately didnt care for the last Need For Speed. Though I like the street racing and customization though do find it nice when they bring in some more realism like Forza does with getting parts tweeking the car not countiniing aerodynamics or weather.
