This game mode is outright impossible to play if you are on a pc.
As many of us have said it on this, and other threads, there's a major bug affecting Hot Pursuit if you are on a pc.
This bug causes the game to slow down its speed to around 50% of the real speed, effectively making it feel like it were on slow-mo.
The first 3 to 5 seconds are okay, and your cop car accelerates as it should be, but after that, the game suddenly slows down, and it makes it feel 120 mph like if you were on a B class car, barely speeding up. And, in my personal case, i've lost A class cars even if i were using the Porsche 911 cop car, so... yeah, this game mode is already too unbalanced to racers having no countermeasures against a swarm of cop players trying to almost kill you by all means once you're at glance in A, A+ and S cars against S+ cops, and if you are on a PC, you are indeed out of the arresting fun.
Fix it ASAP.
