Personally, the only reason I'm continuing to play the game is for Linkups.
I recently bought the palace edition of the game outright after playing 250+ hours from EA play.
Although after seeing what the premium speedpass of the game contains, I'm not really interested in buying that speedpass.
I absolutely want to support the future development of the game, but the only thing that interests me in the premium speedpass is the new Audi. I'm not going to spend £9 solely for this single car. I suspect I might be in the minority, but I love the stylised cartoony visual effects of the game. I'm sad that there aren't any new effects in this season's speedpass.
For me, the only feature I want for the future of the game is matchmaking for linkups. I've played probably hundreds of linkups, and I'd love an official matchmaking mode ala the PVP playlist specifically for linkups. I don't even care about the money or XP, I just want more opportunities to play this solely coop-focused game mode.
Also, I really wish for the opportunity to buy any car I wish from the store, regardless of PVP challenges. I don't want to engage with this game mode. I just want to buy the cars from the store without restriction.
@enf0oIf they made it so we could purchase cars in Lakeshore Online instead of having to unlock them with tedious chores like win five B tier races, which will always end up with someone cheating, then I would probably come back.
