Need For Speed Unbound was an abysmal disappointment.... the sad thing is it didn't have to be. EA should know that you introduce just enough new things but retain some of the existing to not lose your audience. Some bright spark executive has made this game unrecognisable, in fact the only good thing about this title is that its called NFS and not Need For Speed to help differentiate and separate this abomination from the much loved Need For Speed racing game series. Its evident that EA is out of touch with what players want from them! Besides being marketed at teenagers which it shouldn't be as this title has a wide age group of players, also it's nearly impossible to get 1st place in a race.Whose idea was it to brand it NFS? It's Need For Speed! I bought this game as a fan of the series plus I wanted mod the Mercedes W140 which sadly I didn't get a chance to do, as this game to me was unplayable and unenjoyable so after playing it a handful of times, I made the choice to trade it in. I have never come across this kind of situation with any of the other Need For Speed games, besides Payback which I didn't complete as the last few races were too hard.... I still enjoyed it but Unbound I hardly play it, I just got passed the stage where the Lamborghini Countache gets jacked.Anyway I was really looking forward to this game but you guys ruined it and we ain't getting a new title for at least another year....

Sorry, I replied but post didn't get posted. I played enough NFS games to know what good nfs game looks like. You may accept anything but me I want top stuff. If you read gaming news you will realise that this unbound game flopped, now was that just me or many gamers? Nfs is a pioneer of its genre. I tell you if they used nfs underground as template and put cops in, extra modding, cars, decent story with hot chic/s and bigger map, call it underground 3 for example..... I promise you that if my nfs experience is worth it's salt then EA will absolutely smash sales records and they will be propelled into the lime light..... question is why don't they, they must be stupid to not do it!

If they're smart they would upgrade sound and graphics, add few new cars and tracks, maybe a few new songs and expand a little more on how far you can modify your ride, that's it! They can then sell that as the remaster, which players would respect. If they do anything drastic like what you've said then its worrying. I read an article that said that even though unbound didn't do as well EA and associates were still please with it! I was speechless when I read that.... EA need to get their stuff together. I watched a trailer for The Crew Motorfest which looks good and it's out this month!

I deleted this game a while ago. They're focus on multiplayer is a major turnoff. I beat the game, plated some online mode and was done. I'm not interested in downloading and playing this game again.

Yes, exactly! I was going to mention that but it slipped my mind when I wrote the original post.... Either way it's traded in now.
According to Glitched, we're getting a remake.... "A remake of 2005’s acclaimed arcade racing game Need for Speed: Most Wanted is seemingly in development at EA Games with a release date planned for some time in 2024." (Source at bottom of comment)
If this is true then EA +Company please don't ruin it..... Employ people who enjoy playing games, especially Need For Speed!

Unbound has the worst Sound Design ever. I drive only manual but the cars are too quiet so i always have to look at the tacho..
Compared to Forza it's just ridiculous and after 4 Volume Updates they didn't get it...

I was wondering since EA is remastering Need For Speed: Most Wanted / Black List does that mean Toyota & Lexus vehicles will be available in the game or DLC?

Hang on, you complain about a game you have just finished the prologue in and haven't even started really exploring the storyline (so essentially you finished the training intro), nor have experienced any of the online play. Is this how you always judge whether a game sucks?
Oh, I cannot win all the races of the training tutorial --> this game sucks.
And I cannot get the car I want, right from the start --> this game sucks.
Motorfest (or Forza) might be a better choice for you. I hope you find happiness there.
