nobody races anymore
so all they do now in the game is get into one big green circle & smash the police cars to get points .this game is done .some racing game this turn out to be.

- @WSP_NFSonPS I like to use AWD cars for Drifting. In Campaign mode I have a 400+ Eclipse set up for maximum drift and it's a beast.
- @WSP_NFSonPS if you are going to reply to someone specific then click the quick reply button or @ persons user name, that way they will know who you are talking to. as for me, my first NFS game was the first NFS game of "the need for speed" back in 1994 and I have been playing them since. overall not a bad franchise but over the years I have noticed that the games are coming out faster and faster and looking and running pretty much the same. its basically how the call of duty franchise can come out with a new game every year when it used to be activison and infintyward that made the games alternating years. it allowed for better game play and new ideas.
and to be honest, I haven't played this game much as I just started and wasn't online but with what I saw, I am glad I wasn't. i will not be playing this game again. - @catchingrepoman Yeah you're right, I don't blame you in the slightest. I feel like EA has once again mistreated Criterion like they did by forcing Criterion Games to scrap what was meant to be a true modernised sequel to Most Wanted 2005 with Most Wanted 2012 and so they've proceeded to mistreat Criterion again with the unfinished development of Unbound and that could be the reason why it's not as popular as its high-level of potential that it promised was going to maintain, I'm just an optimistic person when it comes to games that I'm good at and that I personally enjoy. The game isn't doing well and I know that, you don't like the game so you won't play it, it's fair enough no one's stopping you and I respect that.
- @WSP_NFSonPS i dont like it because its just NFS heat with cartoonish tire smoke and wings when you jump. the money gaining system, clearing the heat levels. but from the start, all you get is the option to swap the body panels of the car, nothing else. no cheap upgrades to make it more competitive in the harder difficulties.
overall I call this game a joke and a waste of anyone money who bought it. i might try it again later but for now, nope. - @catchingrepoman im in my 50's ive played them all as well and im telling you it doesnt.. so there , you have your opinion i have mine, this updates killed the game, that much i do know
@wevskyand i am telling you it does. you are right that we each have our opinions. i didn't play the game before these updates but from what I have seen if you say they ruined the game then they made the game far worse than I could have thought. i was playing on xbox so the left trigger is your brake but if you hit the brake and then try and turn it was cause you to start to drift. turn too hard and you basically stopped the car to make a 90 degree turn.
since you have played them all as have I. you will or at least should be able to notice the similarities between the games. like how this game is an exact remake of HFS heat but with the cartoonish tire smoke and wings when you go over certain jumps. overall I call this game a joke and a failure and wonder why they ever made it and who got fired because of it. but listening to a whole lot of reddit stories, I wouldn't be too surprised to learn that this game was made solely as malicious compliance from the game builders to the boss who was demanding the game be built how they want it.

so you have tap brake to drift?
The game physics are strange, but with every new nfs game you adapt, career mode is slow and tedious but online racing with decent tunes on cars isnt that bad, they ruined it with the improvements to pc cpu and gpu performance, by making it worse. 90% of the cartoon * you can turn off if you look, as for the link ups, i just find them boring,main thing they screwed up on was stopping the ability for people who drive manual to preselect gears before launch - @wevsky kind of yes and no. if you tap the brake and turn in the direction you want to go you can drift or more than likely it will cause you to drift forcing you to slow down when you are trying to catch up or extend your lead. on PC this is easy to change as you have typically up to 110 keys you can do this too but on console, you are kind of limited.

i play with a controller, also if you have your aux parts set to drift or grip, when you start to drift you will get nos build up, many people who race drift builds are just way faster than grip builds
its a case of get a good build , get used to it, do engine swaps for better torque and bhp,. and learn to drift . ive literally only just started with drifting and its a pain in the arse, but manual gearbox and a good set up car is needed - @wevsky i always play the story mode before switching to online. so you start out with crap and have to build from there but some of these races are just some of the worst I have seen in NFS games.
