Obstacles on the road should slow when hit

Yes,

This feature in nfs history was the biggest difference between good and bad racers. Nowadays dodging the obstacles on the road has no sense.

Dodging the traffic signs, fences, lamps n pillars should have a meaning. At least they can have their weight with simply 3 tiers, like small-mid-big obstacles and every tier can slow down a bit when hit.For example small obstacles can keep the car from gainin speed, mid tiers make a little speed loss, big ones slow down; or i already believe ea know the best way to do it if interested with this.

Also, off road builds has high speed and acceleration loss but just a few gain that depending the track. With this change, off road builds also can worth to build, maybe off road builds get affected by lower loss when hit.

EA knows best.

Thanks.

  • The parts that can be understood without knowing the shortcuts on the course are beginner-friendly (even for me). The choice of tires changes depending on which sections to prioritize on the mixed asphalt and dirt track. It felt a bit thrilling, like a rally.
