Playing without internet

Question

I saw articles about being able to play story mode without internet connection. Well, on PC it doesn't work. Doesn't matter if I buy it on epic games, steam or origin. Customer support directly said:&nbsp;"I am afraid but seems like this feature is unavailable for NFS unbound and you would only be able to play it online."&nbsp;In countries where internet can go down for 2-3 days it's a bit of a problem. I humbly ask you to change it and let us start the game offline.&nbsp;Thank you!

@Kicsiduda Wait, really? The story mode relies on an active internet connection??

@IVorzaYT Yes. On PC, if you don't have internet, you are unable to start the game at all. If the internet goes away while you are already in the game, then it's fine, it just says you are disconnected... Sad

Oh okay. Errr that sucks. I'm on PC as well but haven't tried that. I absolutely hate stuff like this.

Tbh I think Origin is known to do stuff like that with a lot of its games. I read somewhere that Heat is the same. It can be played offline but has to be launched with internet. Could be wrong tho.
