Hello. I started playing the storyline for the second time. The first time I started on Mitsubishi Eclipse. It has four-wheel drive and has very poor acceleration.
When I started playing the storyline for the second time, I bought a Mustang Boss, which has amazing overclocking even in stock. Immediately after the purchase, I bought "road" tires and won races. Try to do drafting, and make a boost every time it "fills up". On the Mitsubishi Eclipse, I took 3-5th place. On the mustang, I take 1st place.

@BORMOTOS I also got 1st place a couple of times with the Beetle, but it's more for me that the rubberbanding and the cheating power the AI displays from time to time is just f'ed up.

I’m happy all you guys chimed in and we’re all having the same issues. It’s about making the game enjoyable and not stressing out. Hopefully devs see this thread and fix it.

@Caelum_NL Rubber banding has got to be the most hated excite mechanic. But it’s got to be all dev teams industry wide go to cheat.

I’m guessing to mask AI coding issues

@Caelum_NL Yeah, I noticed that too, the performance points are supposed to be to balance the cars, but it don't work, I noticed that two cars with the same performance points perform so different, and the difference is too drastic, basically you only can win with super cars, even if they have the same PP, the supercars just turn so much better, and also are faster in top speed and acceleration, this doesn't make sense, the PP is useless

On reflexion and with my tail inbetween my legs. And having dropped down from challenging to Easy☺️ I think there are some definite balancing issues but not just difficulty but also needs better Camera POV settings and controller inputs.

lost count the amount off times about to finish in top 3 and I hit a random Car I see at the last second and no time to react a few hundred yards from the finishing line and come last🙄. Especially cause I’m distracted by the silly cartoon effects

@BORMOTOS I picked the eclipse too and the acceleration was so bad. Clearly the developers have never seen an AWD launch lol.
