You are correct, Hood Camera View is what I was referring to as I always drive from this perspective.

What else can I add. If you suck then it's good to accept a race with just a few Racers because you are then going to Finish at least 1st, 2nd or 3rd and get more Cash and points.

Also if you suck you're going to have to grind it out by accepting lots of races.

I find the Loaner cars suck as the handling characteristics may not conform to your driving style. This is why you want your own Customized car so that you can Finish higher in races and Bank more cash and points. Racing is more fun when you have a car you want to drive as opposed to driving a piece of $hit.

That is all I can think of for now.

  • I'm starting to Finish higher up in Races. I'm cornering better but I also switched my 4k TV to Game mode where it seems I can see much better, farther down the road especially on Night Races where I could not see squat being that it was too dark to see ahead. I also ditched the Crown Vic for B Class Races as the acceleration took for ever to get up to speed and I also ditch the Austin Mini. Though it was better than the Crown Vic I still wasn't happy. So now I'm giving the Honda Sports model a go and see how that goes.

I purchased the BMW i8 Roadster for S Class, this car handles the way I like and I figure I'm going to do well with this car.

Also when your rating level reaches like 20 points then when I hit 30 points I receive I got 100k Cash bonus for each one. So now I have the cars that I need for the moment I just need to invest in Stylizing them with Race winnings. When I have the Cash and the Lotus gets unlocked I more than likely will ditch the Honda for the Lotus for B Class Races.

  • Reached Level 55 Rating. What I'm finding out is that you have to cycle through different cars to complete Challenges. So the 5 cars that I obtained, 1 for each Class, I needed to Sell Off after completing a Challenge for that Make, for example a Ford, so that I can afford to Buy a BMW. It seems to make Stylizing a car pointless as it is wasting money you need for Performance.

I'm keeping my VW Rabbit as my Utility Car as I have it finely tuned and am using it to complete Activities.

So it seems that what this game is all about is to drive different Makes & Models of cars. Can't stick strictly to your Favorites as it cost too much money to keep extra cars when you can Sell it for the cash you need to Buy another car Make & Model.

And when you are Racing it comes down to mostly skill as car performances are relatively equal in a particular Class.

  • Unlocked the Bugatti after completing 35 S+ Races, now I just need 3 million bucks to purchase the car. Reached Rating 76 but it hasn't been pretty as I've been sucking at Finishing. Oh my cars are capable just that I've been crashing a lot. I have finished 1st in one Race and came in 2nd in another but overall I suck.

Driving the Chevrolet SS at the moment for B Class Races, my cousin Bernie owned this car, same color, when I was a kid. Once I finish the B Class with this car I will turn it into a supercar and see what it can really do.

    See ya on the Road!

  • There is no Cockpit View in this Game..

and no Golf Rabbit.. This is a Golf GTI

You really like the Online Mode? I find this is a Mess.

    • No Cops
    • No Nightmode
    • No "Real" Driftevents
    • In every Class you have the same Race Tracks, they are just switching a little bit in each Playlist
    • No "Real" Customizing for a lot of Cars
    • Headlights are washy - Some cars have the same headlights twice!?
    • Lagging
    • Textures not loading
    • Engine Sounds are the baddest i have ever heard in a Video Game
    • You have to drive to the Event you wanna start, if no one joins you the way was for the fishes
    • The Invitations and the Specs of your Car are on the same Position
    • You don't even have to finish a Race to get Money or the Reputation to unlock new cars and so on...

    You make some good points.

Yes, no Cockpit View, I meant Hood Camera View. I always drive viewing the road from inside the car.

I'm good with the Drifting in this game, I'm not into Drifting as in Heat. Having driven professionally for 32 years drifting is what you do to control your car in winter conditions. IMO if you're drifting in normal driving conditions, you don't have control of your car.

Yes, there must be more Playlist Events to keep this game re-playable. Hopefully we will see more in Updates.

I've encountered a glitch where a Race Event goes psychedelic, they need to fix that.

As for the Golf GTI, I believe back in its day it was known as The Rabbit. Friend had one that I got to ride in. But I actually drove one which was an all wheel drive, fun car to drive.

  • I've never heard of that, that the GTI was known as Rabbit.

I am from Austria and the Rabbit is a cheap Special Edition - As far as i know this Edition was only for Austria.

But i just read an Article that the GTI was called Rabbit for the American Market 🙂

I loved the Drifting in Heating, I got along well with it but in Unbound it doesn't feel right and even if you have over 1000hp under your * it feels like a "tethered cow" (as we say in austria)

Reached Rating Level 99 and have 80 hours logged in the game, Online mode. As I upgrade my cars to try and find the best car for each Class so that I can finish higher in races more consistently. I'm wasting a lot of money/earnings that I need to afford to buy the Bugatti.

Which leads me to think that Racers even Reviewers who are already driving these Supercars are cheating the game. As I am a long ways off from having the money to buy a Bugatti and I figure that I have to do a least 150 more Races to earn the money. I suppose it's possible for a really good Racer to have the winnings to already have these cars. But at this point in the release of the game, that should be just a few. I struggle to finish 1st or 2nd in a Race but I have done so in a few Races having driven a Clean run without crashing.

So don't be discouraged if you don't Finish high in a Race, you may be up against a Cheater. I'm finding that its a grind, have to participate in many Races to have the money to upgrade to a Supercar. Especially having one for each Race Class.

There may or may not be cheaters, I'm personally not sure but as far as making money it's definitely not impossible, I made 2 million in 3 days to buy my p1 GTR, if you stop spending unnecessary money then you can stack that cash in no time, like you said it's a grind, it's better than heat where you could just jump in make 4 million in a day and not need to buy any other cars , at least this gives us more to do, more cars to try, different combinations for those cars' upgrades/tiers, the replayability is really good, and the money is easy to make if you're willing to work for it

One thing i would suggest is take one of the decent cars you got (one setup you're happy with) and run the hell out of that cars tier to get the money

Thanks, I'm certainly wasting money buying cars for each Class, not liking it and reselling, losing money. Even so I still don't think I would have accumulated enough money for the Bugatti. Do I need the Bugatti, no. I have a 400+ Porsche Spyder and my VW Rabbit, plus stylized cars for each class except A, at the moment.

When I raced against a Bugatti and Konigsberg Regera in an S+ Race. I had no hope of catching up to them right off the start.
