Re: Where is PVP for Multiplayer?

@UnstoppabuII Most definitely. No wonder the concept of NFS HP 2010/2020 is so successful because its fun and it allows for a change compared to the only racing side of things.

But all this was properly possible with a decent pvp system and the possibility to create private/public lobbies.

  • @2ELI0 HP2010's success is based on simplicity.Hot Pursuit style games mostly focusing on racing and combat rather than tuning or story. It had core gameplay and almost nothing else.Real Criterion successfully modernized classic 90s NFS recipe (Exotic Cars/Epic Drive/Hot Pursuit) with its own twist. However since current Criterion is just Ghost in a shell I doubt MP will be hugely improved compare to previous Ghost entries.NFS nowadays focusing too much on tuning and too few on racing.Sadly I think this problem may stay in Unbound and future entries.

@GEARKNOBS3512 we’ll see about that. If this is the fact for unbound, I’ll just wait for the game to become available on gamepass. Not paying for a heat reskin.

@GEARKNOBS3512And there is the problem, what made NFS so successful was the pure racing and the car focus. Kinda in Top Gear style with showcase videos showing of supercars, i really miss those days playing with friends in split screen.

After 2003 i feel this series steered away from its roots, just soo they could tribute Fast and furious. Dont get me wrong i like the movies, but i wish that EA never made NFS games out of it.
