I personally don't care at all if people are leaving. This is a solo PvP game, meaning them leaving will have no effect on your gameplay at all. And I'm confident that this is the reason why there will never be any sort of penalty for doing so.. simply no need for it.
To say that this^ is more important than people cheating and straight up griefing other players ability to play the game, is just crazy.. and honestly, sounds very fishy, lol.

Please don't be ridiculous, why do we enter the race, to earn xp and money. If there are 8 people in the race, we earn money and xp accordingly, if there are 2 people, we earn accordingly. If you have plenty of time and enjoy spending 15 minutes for 1 person, that's not my problem.

- @2smokeTM You're the only one being ridiculous here, I enter a race to Win. I could care less about getting 15k less, because people are leaving. Earning money in this game is extremely easy, xp aswell.. 1 Linkup and you could potentially net yourself 188.5k. What I care about is to not have my games ruined by cheating griefers, which literally happens several times a day, and having the opinion that you think people leaving is a much bigger problem compared to people cheating is just crazy imo, and I know it won't matter to discuss this point any further.
Adding to what you wrote about the nitro.. I know this game, and I play this game somewhat a lot, and it's not hard to see the difference between a Golt GTI with meta build racing past you, and someone who clearly uses cheats.. it can't be more obvious to the eye imo. My friend, I'm not saying cheating is unimportant, why do you insist on saying it is like this. Everyone has their own criteria, for you it's important who cheats, for me it's important who leaves the game. If someone cheats and comes in first, it doesn't matter to me, the remaining 7 people will compete, the real first place winner will be clear among the remaining ones. Just think, 8 people started and you're left alone in the middle of the first race. What's the point of this if you're not going to compete with anyone? Go to free roam and play a playlist alone, what's the difference? - @2smokeTM Where do I say that you think cheating is unimportant, nowhere. So you can quit the attitude.
Why doesn't it matter to you that someone cheats and gets first place, when your priorities are cash and xp, which you obviously know first place gets the most of?
People leave games for various reason, and every reason is a valid reason for That person, accept it. Again, this isn't coop PvP, where a member of your team leaving basically means that 99% of the time, you lose the match. Having an empty lobby at any point during the 3 races is extremely rare, and I only ever see this happen in free roam PvP when some rookie joins my playlist. you enter a race to win is why cheating bothering you , that is the wrong attitude in gaming , i enter a race to race , race fair , so while cheaters annoy me , the microdrifters annoy me even more , because if there is no microgrip microdrifting should not exit either , but it does , and it was not planned I guarantee you , it is just the usual mistake with a rushed IP that was created by DEI hire , and abused by exploit hunters , exploit hunters who do not come to race , they enter to win , they could not win a race fair if their life depends on it , they are the type who we did not play in the 90`s , they are your low kick only little brother , so cheaters in my book are fine , they are not trying to hide that they are not interested in fair play , while the exploit hunter is the worst piece of S , because they try to pretend that they play fair , knowing damn well what they are doing
- @CrashingTiger I literally state that cheaters grief my games, so what you're on about, I have no idea. Cheaters reveal themselves when they are being challenged and can't keep up in front, so they grief. I have no issues if people wanna do some extra sweat, and 'exploit' microgrip/drifting.. those are just people who play the game, like you and me.
