Anyone else having a problem with the AI Shimizu? The other AI and myself are consistently a minimum of 700 yards away from him in every race. I’m 2 days away from the grand and I’m concerned that I won’t be able to beat him. I’ve spent all of my money on every car I can think of to try and combat this issue but nothing is working. I’m still getting beaten every single time.

At least I’m not the only one having an issue with this * I had to completely delete my whole save because I had the menu bug in online where I just could not access online ever again at all and as I’m now on the fourth week, I was trying to unlock the BMW M5, 2018 and, oh boy, does he activate turbo Tastic mode, and he is born like I can get rid of him at the beginning of the race, and somehow he is back up behind me and in front of me on the last lap at the final corner, yet he was 600 yards behind me. It’s like he’s on rails for some weird reason and he just is gone. I’ve seen people suggest ways to beat him but this man and his Ferrari needs to be nerf to oblivion.

I hate the story mode A.I, I think it's mostly due to the rubberbanding. None of the A.I should magically appear behind me when I am flying along at 240 mph in either the Regera or the Bugatti.
Spinning him out can be easy w countach 21 or any high accel car go for side rear at beginning equip heavy damage booster to deal more damage and ko his car countach 21 f1 murcielago fares well against him regera is obvious but yeah he has one flaw as one states he is near perfect but on god hour and head spin he hits traffic parked cars giving you a chance to get ahead his ai is also arrogant and seems to rubberband even when you arent at 220mph use any high accel car
Side note i have noticed his ai become aggressive if I've hit his car tons he will intentionally hit your car like a cop car trying to spin you out
