Spatial audio sounds squashed. Too much compression and/or limiting.

Look. I'm gonna tell y'all NFS Unbound audio guys the same thing I told the PG Horizon audio guys. You're doing us a disservice by squashing spatial audio modes. Stop it.

There is absolutely NO need for heavy compression or limiting in Dolby Atmos or any other spatial audio mode. All you're doing is making things sound unnatural and generally bad on higher end HT rigs. I hate that this is a problem in games. Just engineer these things like you would a movie. Modern music mastering techniques have NO place here.

Example: Huracan Performante mix. The transmission shift thud is way too loud, the exhaust is lacking a lot of dynamic range, and it just sounds like it's slammed into a limiter. This is not the only car that has problems in the audio mix.

Dolby Atmos mode may sound quieter than the other modes and that's fine. It's supposed to. It's supposed to be full dynamic range and full spectrum. This could sound SO much better on my HT rig, I know it.

So if y'all Unbound audio guys read this forum, do something about this please. This modern loudness war nonsense has no place in spatial audio.
