A great concept was established in NFS HP 2010/2020.
There you could create lobbies, invite people, play different modes such as: Race, Hot Pursuits, Most Wanted etc. in different classes.
That's what's needed in my opinion.

@2ELI0 Agree with you man, but they also need too give us option too play as a cop too. Most nfs games wich had HP mode has had that, and there are so many cool cop car in US. Atleast compared too my country Norway where they are driving around in Volvos Wolkswagens and recently a hybrid of Ford explorer.
- @BVBgamer88 Yea. Playing as cop vs friends as racer is also a great way to make sure multiplayer would be fun in the long run.
But without proper pvp system this all would fail. - @BVBgamer88 Be the Cop mode may only return if EA drop the street racing chav style core and return to Cannonball Hot Pursuit.Yes there was a multiplayer Be the Cop mode in Carbon,but it failed and never return in later BB games.Judging by EA's understanding of NFS being a street racing fantasy with all kinds of unreasonable parts (Unbound looks like junkyard wrecks) Be the Cop mode may continue to be ignored until EA run out of choices and back to Cannonball NFS.
Given the setting, robbers vs cops would be fun.
for example: 4 robbers need to steal a car on 2 locations. 4 cops need to intercept the cars after the robbers got them.
kind of like a capture the flag, in cars
- @UnstoppabuII Most definitely. No wonder the concept of NFS HP 2010/2020 is so successful because its fun and it allows for a change compared to the only racing side of things.
But all this was properly possible with a decent pvp system and the possibility to create private/public lobbies.
