Why cant the game run on both current and next gen console

Hi EA why is the game only for SERIES X\S and PS5   some people cant afford neither consoles and also powerful PC, it would be better at least if the game can also run on the Xbox one & PS4 it would...

Then again, thinking it's just EA doing this is foolish. Plenty other companies are leaving old gen behind as well. 

Kylotonn, the one who makes WRC games, decided to not launch Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown on old gen, and future WRC games will likely follow.

Gotham Knights didn't launch on old gen either.

Starfield will be Xbox Series and PC only

Forza Motorsports (2023) is Xbox Series and PC only as well

The Elder Scrolls 6 will also be Xbox Series and PC only 

Ratchet and clank : rift apart is PS5 exclusive. Same for the future Spider-man 2 game.

Forspoken will be a PS5 exclusivity for at least 24 months after it's release before being introduced to PC

Alan Wake 2 will be current gen only. 

I don't think I have to give more exemples, although they are many more I could give. The whole video game industry is moving on. Not just EA. In a year or two, there won' t be any video game company that will release their games on old gen. That's how it is and you can't do anything about it. Complaining online about it won't make your wishes come true.

The only thing I can suggest you is to forget about it and move on. Thinking about it for too long will only frustrate you more and that's not healthy.

    that's the pure truth, only those who wrote these games always make them for old consoles that's right, new wrc is made in one for both consoles WRC GENERATIONS igra za XBOX SERIES X & XBOX ONE is already out Platforma Xbox One & Xbox Series X just take a look in internet stores you'll see for yourself and these two games CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE II Platforma Xbox One & Xbox Series X new games are out I won't forget and I will continue to do so Complaining

    DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 8192 MB they warm up a bit too much for those of us who have old computers and consoles very unfair I will never stop coamplaining this they will go on as before not us people who still have old things that still work well and because of that I will have to upgrade every year for a new game who are stupid to work alone for nextgen unfair for us and them

    MONEY GLITCH is also on current gen x series
    NEED FOR SPEED UNBOUND MONEY GLITCH WORKING RIGHT NOW IN STORY MODE! so she will know Just look at youtube and you will see and understand for yourself and also probably crash game and bugs.

    it's not fair and other people are probably angry too because we waited a long time for the new one need for speed unbound but they made it only for curent nextgen consoles they have no interest in us other people who have old consoles and PCs and you all still say that it is it's not right, it's not fair

      Well after play Unbound on my PS5 I have to say that there is no way this game could play on my PS4.  I am not saying this without any experience because I own every NFS title including the MS Dos first one.  The reason I am saying this is my PS5 had a hard time rendering graphics at speeds over 200mph.  Reminds me of Rivals on my PS3 the scenery starts to appear as your driving.  Just my observation.

        I can only watch the streamers play I can't play it because they didn't make it for the old console she is 8 days old but there are also problems there is a glitch with unlimited money and a glitch that gets two cars at once, there are also bugs but they don't want to make it for ps4 and xbox one console I only got this experience can't even play it because it's only for the xbox x series it is also Just my observation.
