Kylotonn, the one who makes WRC games, decided to not launch Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown on old gen, and future WRC games will likely follow.
Gotham Knights didn't launch on old gen either.
Starfield will be Xbox Series and PC only
Forza Motorsports (2023) is Xbox Series and PC only as well
The Elder Scrolls 6 will also be Xbox Series and PC only
Ratchet and clank : rift apart is PS5 exclusive. Same for the future Spider-man 2 game.
Forspoken will be a PS5 exclusivity for at least 24 months after it's release before being introduced to PC
Alan Wake 2 will be current gen only.
I don't think I have to give more exemples, although they are many more I could give. The whole video game industry is moving on. Not just EA. In a year or two, there won' t be any video game company that will release their games on old gen. That's how it is and you can't do anything about it. Complaining online about it won't make your wishes come true.
The only thing I can suggest you is to forget about it and move on. Thinking about it for too long will only frustrate you more and that's not healthy.
Well after play Unbound on my PS5 I have to say that there is no way this game could play on my PS4. I am not saying this without any experience because I own every NFS title including the MS Dos first one. The reason I am saying this is my PS5 had a hard time rendering graphics at speeds over 200mph. Reminds me of Rivals on my PS3 the scenery starts to appear as your driving. Just my observation.
