why do i have to buy the new porsche

i did it 4 times & still didnt get it.

could you check in the Online Challenges in the game, what the count on the challenge "finish the Porsche Unleashed playlist 3 times" is? Aka, if it counted the races at all there or not?

I've unlocked access to the new Porsche but I didn't get a free one, I had to purchase it.

Yes, this is correct - after you unlock the option, you will still need to purchase it. This is as intended. 

Apologies for the confusion - I wasn't sure if you were even able to unlock it correctly and wanted to make certain that works as intended.

This is not like the cars you are rewarded for completing activities (long jumps, drift zones, hot laps, etc.) and collectibles, this is a lot like most of the cars that you unlock in multiplayer which is done through completing playlists (or linkups for the DeLorean).

No, it simply unlocks it - I agree that it's phrased a bit vaguely on the website, but as previously stated, after unlocking the Porsche through the completion of the races, you will have to buy it.
