You can reconfigure your gamepad and race wheel buttons on PC

You can reconfigure your gamepad and race wheel buttons from the default with this cool program and it is called XInput Plus.

Here is the step by step instructions.

1. Launch the program XInput Plus click on select button on the top right of the program and select NFS Unbound exe.

2. Change the buttons in the KeyAssign tab to what you want and then click Total Test at the bottom left and test your gamepad or race wheel buttons, when you are done continue to the next step.

3. Click on the settings tab and click the Dll Files tab, select XInput1_4.dll from installed files then click and select 64bit version (x64).

4. There are some other settings and if you want to change it go ahead and change it and when you are done click apply and when you launch NFS Unbound you gamepad or race wheel should have reconfigured buttons.

Here is a tip, if you want to change your buttons again open XInput Plus and then select NFS unbound game exe and it should load your settings again.
