All save data lost

Upon launching the game I received an error saying my save file could not be loaded with the option to try again or overwrite. I restarted my game and clicked try again no luck. I restarted my computer and clicked try again no luck. Eventually, in order to play, I had to click overwrite. Now, after over 100hrs of gameplay, and nearly every achievement, I've lost all of my progress and am required to complete story mode again before I can get back into online. I'm sure you can understand my frustration... Is there anything that can be done?

Please let me know if any further proof or information is required. Thank you for your time and assistance.

If your save game became corrupt and was then overwritten, your progress is not recoverable.

I'm sorry that is ridiculous. The same thing happened to me, almost 100% through the game and reset without any warning or wrongdoing. EA needs to give some sort of compensation to their loyal players if they expect any type of continued support for their franchises. Whether it be restoring a players cars, money, achievements or progress there is definitely something that can and SHOULD be done. Calling this a resolved "solution" is a lousy way to conduct customer service. At least 3 of my friends stopped playing after this happened to me as well as they saw no point in continuing to grind if there is a chance it will all just vanish. Just lousy even for EA.

how about you fix it instead of saying it’s okay to have a bug that earwaxes all setups and career modes in a game majority of the fan base paid $100+ for

@booquiffious I'm not happy that my 630h got to waste, just because I reinstalled the game because of the game Daily/Weekly Challenges Error. * that I got cars from DLC/Speedpass and League. All my Car shop is locked, Singleplayer rewards lost and only thing that "GOOD" is that instead of ~2,5 million I have ~6,5 million cash in Multiplayer. Sad thing is we are not getting those spend hours and sweat back ☹️
