Make sure there is a folder called NFS Unbound in your documents folder.
In that NFS Unbound folder should be another folder called "Save Game" if that folder is empty then it looks like the game deleted your save or maybe it didnt save correctly.
I have noticed that the game doesn't seem to use cloud saves so if you play on two separate devices then your progress wont transfer over and you will have to manually copy that save game folder across each time you switch devices.
if the folder and content exists but the save game still wont load then it might be worth creating a ticket to EA for further support

Thanks for the reply. The Save Game folder was empty, so it was all deleted. I resorted to not selecting Quit Game within the game and simply force close the window outside of the game. It has worked thus far and is the only work around I can think of. It's not a difficult one either.
do you happen to know how i could get that file, i dont have it installed in my documents folder and i cant seem to find it anywhere else.
