Combos in Drift and Takeover Events Broken

Summarize your bug Sometimes the combo multiplier does not work regularly. The combo is lost easily because certain actions are not recognized as contributing to the combo. As far as I can tell, drifting, jumping, and boosting can sometimes not affect your combo. For takeovers, destruction will always contribute to your combo. To fix the combo counter, you must waste a restart. Why or when this issue occurs I cannot tell.
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Honestly for myself it seems random whether or not I get this bug. However, it is very easy to tell. At the beginning of each takeover I'll boost to see if I get the points towards the combo so I can immediately tell if the combo contributor is broken or not. So far restarting the event can make the combo counter behave regularly again.

Before I restarted the race, you can see how drifts, airtime, and boosting do not contribute to the combo, only smashing. After I restarted, the aforementioned do contribute.
