Freezes and long load times after ultimate DLC collection upgrade

Summarize your bug I recently purchased the ultimate collection upgrade and I've been having a number of issues. Such as freezing and long load times.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Buy the ultimate DLC collection and load into a server online.
What happens when the bug occurs? Firstly, none of the new smoke effects, such as all colours of the light wall and flame effects work offroad. They work fine on tarmac, just not dirt. The original cartoon-style smokes work fine everywhere, it's only the new effect that do not. This is only a big problem for me because I spend most of my time in linkups, where they mostly take place in the dirt. Secondly, ever since I bought the collection, my loading times have become extremely long. It's like the game hangs whenever I join / leave a server or go into my garage online. It regularly takes 30seconds plus whenever I try to do any of these things. Small edit: I'm also having a lot of smaller 1-3 second freezes after completing daily and weekly challenges. I've also had a few server disconnects since I purchased the DLC as well. None of these issues occurred before I bought the DLC. I installed all 16 items in the xbox storage menu. Do I absolutely need to have these installed or will the game just pull the purchases from my profile? I'd like to try deleting them to see if that works, but don't want to risk corrupting my save.
What do you expect to see? Well I'd like to see all my concerns fixed in the next patch.
